Waiting To Exhale 2 Is STILL Happening Without Whitney Houston

No surprises here, given the fact that the original Waiting to Exhale soundtrack is topping the music charts!
Back in May, we were pleased to hear that a Waiting to Exhale sequel was happening, and that the entire original cast would be returning.
Now, Fox has announced that they'll still be moving forward with the Exhale sequel, [...]

Who Gave The Top Performance At The Grammys?

The music industry was all out on show last night at the 54th Grammy Awards. Trent has given us an initial rundown of the essential Whitney Houston tributes throughout the show. There were many amazing, memorable performances last night at the Grammy’s. Some of our fave vocalists and bands received standing ovations from their music [...]

Last night’s Grammy Awards were understandably colored by the tragic death of our wonderful, Whitney Houston. Trent will continue to update us on this ongoing, and devastating, story. In the midst of all the darkness, as so many people pointed out on the red carpet and at the awards, there is still the need for lightness and color. What better way to celebrate color than by looking at who wore it best. Any award show is as much about celebrating talent as it is about praising fashion’s finest. Did you see what they wore and who looked the best?

One of the most talked about outfits of the night was without a doubt Nicki Minaj… she rocked up on the red carpet in a red hood in the style of Little Red Riding Hood or a red nun’s habit? She even completed the look walking down the red carpet with a pope?! It is not that surprising for eclectic and fashionably outrageous Nicki, but even for her this was a very interesting look. I love Nicki’s fun and fabulous take on fashion, but this for me is a little much. What did you think of this one, is it a winner or loser in the fashion stakes?

Axl Rose Now Is Anybody Still Listening?

There is something about the melody of a nursery rhyme that has lasted the ages. Perhaps it is because the melody is so simple that it has a natural catchiness to it. Other times it could be that the lyrics are so vivid that it embeds itself in the memory of the listener and singer. However who knew that when 'Jack and Jill went up the hill' it was right before a beheading and that it is really about a French king and queen.

Flamenco Lessons Are Easy to Find

1. It may sound impossible but there are still lots of Beatles song unreleased. The most remarkable one is the experimental piece recorded in January of 1967 made specifically for the Million Volt Light and Sound Rave showcase at Camden Roundhouse in London and has never been released and the illustrious 27-minute jam of Helter Skelter.

Whitney Houston pAArtied It UP Last Night!!

Gurlfriend had a good time Thursday night!!

Her daughter, miss Bobbi Kristina Brown, was in two. The two held hands on the red carpet before zooming their way in at [...]

Gabrielle Union was a little ticked off at the the TSA on Wednesday after one "required a hair patdown" because her weave set off the body scanner at an airport security checkpoint!

The Think Like A Man actress angrily tweeted her experience, writing:

"Ma weave got "flagged" by the bodyscan at security. TSA required a hair patdown. No lie...they coulda just asked if it was the temple hair."

"If human hair & thread sets off the bodyscanner...a lot of folks jus ended up on the "watch list"...its a weave not terrorism."

She was particularly surprised to have issues because the TSA agent who initiated the invasive security check "was a black female."

Beyond that, you'd think the agent would have recognized Gabrielle from one of the MANY television shows and movies listed on her extensive resume, including 10 Things I Hate About You, Bring It On, and Bad Boys II!

Airport security eventually figured out that Gabrielle wasn't a terrorist and the actress joked:

"Bout to take off...hopefully my weave doesn't cause turbulence...its clearly very powerful."

LOLz!

We're sorry to hear Mz. Union had to deal with this annoying hassle, but at the end of the day, the TSA agent was only doing her job!

What is the worst thing that has ever happened to U while going through airport security?

As you guys know, i am super amped about MTV’s Battle of the Exes, adn even more excited to interview each team that is eliminated. IT was a double elimination last week, so I got to also interview Vinny! Check it out here. Vinny was a nice guy andreally got into the shiz going on around the house. Somet hings will shock you – like did you know CT still lives with his mom? LOL, well that was news to me. I just can’t picture it! But on to business. here is what went down. We started off talking about how he got himself, and poor Sarah, kicked off the show. Right when they had all the power! Vinny admitted that it was kind of blown out of proportion, but the roles are the rules. So if they cant allow it, they can’t allow it. It seemed like he didn’t are when it was all going down, but it turns out he was just too wasted to know what was going on. I was so drunk, I wasn’t being my normal self. I was so messed up from the night before. We talked it out that night and worked it [...]

Rolling Stones Is a Rock and Roll Band

The beginnings of heavy metal and the instruments used to make it can arguably be traced back to the early days of the electric guitar and the work done by inventors and innovators like George Beauchamp (inventor of the first electric guitar), Adolph Rickenbacker, Paul Barth, and Les Paul. Without their work and the work and the contributions of countless others guitars that you plugged in would not be a reality and, indeed, if heavy metal was ever created it would have taken on a very different form. Starting in the early 70s and continuing on today heavy metal...
