President Obama Visits NYC To Honor The World Trade Center Memorial

On Sunday night, President Barack Obama announced to the world that US military forces killed Osama bin Laden, the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks on NYC and Washington DC (among other Al Qaeda terrorist attacks around the world) and today he made his way to the World Trade Center Memorial site in Lower Manhattan to [...]

Last night David and I met up with our good friends Tamar, Ollie and Rob for a fun bowling date at Lucky Strike in Hollywood, CA. Tam and I have been trying to work out a time where we could all hang out for sometime now but our schedules have been getting in the way. We finally managed to get the time set and last night was our bowling date night. To be honest, we collectively did NOT exhibit the best bowling skillz last night … but we did have a blast and that is really all that matters.

David and I supped on delicious pizza at Prizzi’s Piazza before bowling and for those of you who are fans of their amazing food, I have the sad duty to report that the restaurant is closing at the end of this month. I was very shocked and very bummed to see the notice of closure on the door as we walked in. If you love Prizzi’s pizza, you’re running out of time to enjoy it :(

In happier news, tho, our bowling date was nothing but a total blast. Lucky Strike was pretty empty so we had a lot of room to play. David ended up winning but we all did our best … and that’s all that matters ;D

Today is Cinco de Mayo and while I normally would be out whooping it up with margaritas tonight, I’ll instead be jammin’ my buns off at the first of another set of 3 Prince concerts at The Forum in Inglewood, CA. I am really excited for tonight’s show … I’m hearing rumors that Stevie Wonder *may* make a surprise appearance at one of the shows this weekend. My guess is that if Stevie does appear, it’ll prolly be during Saturday’s concert. I cannot wait to see what’s gonna happen tonight :D Happy Thursday!
